Inquiring Systems for Cyberspace

Computer Ethics Institute, April 29, 1993

Brian Kyle Bower , Computers and Information Systems, McGowan School of Business

"This paper is an attempt to begin the construction of a study of Cyberethics. Cyberethics, a term coined by Barquin, refers to the consideration of ethical concepts as they apply to information technology. The following will develop initial positions about Cyberethics and the study of Cyberethics. Naturally, these are the first tentative gestures, applied to an exceedingly large, complex topic; if nothing else they will offer a point of departure."
